Director Legal Affairs

The position is responsible for advising the Maritime Authority of Jamaica (The Authority) on all matters of a legal nature affecting the operations of the Authority. The Director Legal Affairs is also expected to provide legal advice to the Ministry responsible for maritime transportation, Ministry of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade on international maritime law and commercial law issues.
