The owner may request the deletion of a Jamaican ship at any time. The notarized deletion request should be directed to the Registrar of Ships:
- In writing, signed by the Owner (or an Agent with evidence of authorization)
- Clearly identifying the vessel
- Indicating whether the vessel is sold and if so, to which nationality
A Certificate of De-Registration will be issued upon deletion.
