OBSERVATION OF UNITED NATIONS’ SANCTION AGAINST THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF (NORTH) KOREA

The conduct of trade, provision of service to or procurement of services from the Democratic People’s Republic of (North) Korea (DPRK).

Note 
The Jamaica Ship Registry is committed to quality in providing service to owners of Jamaican ships, the crew thereof and all stakeholders alike.    There is no discrimination in the nationality of individuals who serve onboard Jamaican ships or entities owning a Jamaican ship.  

 
The JSR is however cognizant of its obligations to the international community as a responsible Ship Registry to support the effort of the United Nations in seeking to establish and preserve order and safety in the conduct of affairs globally and particularly, within the maritime sector.  


Application 
All Jamaican ships, whether pleasure craft, commercial craft or otherwise, and crew serving onboard Jamaican ships, are required to similarly observe the restrictions in the conduct of their affairs.  Failure to observe this
guideline, may result in the summary cancellation of the vessel’s registration in Jamaica.
